3D FOOT IMAGING

The 3DO Foot Imaging & Assessment System goes far beyond traditional foot evaluation procedures using advanced computer technology to reveal valuable information about your patients' feet that would be extremely difficult to ascertain with traditional methods.

In only a few minutes, the doctor will gather a wealth of information on both static and dynamic forces that are affecting your feet.

Features:

  1. Capture accurate 2D & 3D images of your  feet in a standing weight bearing    position. The scan acts as a digital cast that is used to mold Orthotics if they are needed.

  2. Identify high pressure points on the feet that may be creating problems

  3. Analyze weight distribution data to determine if one leg is shorter than the other which may be causing an imbalance.

  4. Analyze your gait compared to normal gait to learn how much your feet may be shifting too far inward or outward while walking.

  5. Auto play or manually view each frame in your  gait to determine if your feet are collapsing too much while walking. This can be viewed in both 2D and 3D with the ability to change the rotation, angle, and speed of the 3D view of the feet.

  6. View contact, mid-stance, and propulsive percentage values in an easy to read graph.

  7. Easily order Orthotics, add advanced accommodations and note special instructions.

After testing is completed, I will review the test results with you and make recommendations. I will be able to tell you if your feet need help or if they are fine just the way they are. If your feet do need help, a corrective course of action will be planned, which may involve orthotics. Improving your foot health will lead to changes that will allow you to live a more active lifestyle and improve your overall sense of health.
